Classic 105 year building, initially occupied by the Aberdeen Daily World, then National Bank of Commerce. Large bank vault is still in place, with a record vault above. For a time in the 1970's it housed a restaurant/cocktail bar with music and dancing. Became the location of Wiitimaki Jewelry in 1999. Very solid appearing building, with much of the terrazzo flooring and ornate woodwork still in place. Directly across from the restored D & R Theater, and one block east of South Broadway.
